Vision Number Two: Lineage of People going toward Light
Described in Question and Answer Format
between Mike and Shelley
This was a vision which came in answer to an honest, heartfelt prayer.
The vision occurred on a Sunday morning around 11 AM, during church, in
December 2007. The Saturday evening before we had had questions concerning the
birth of Christ. This was not a new question for me. I have complete faith in
God, but had always questioned whether or not the worship of Christ was
appropriate. I worried that if He had been only a man, then was worshiping Him
not a sin? Mike and I began to research on the internet. We looked up things
such as virgin birth and the mentality behind the ritual of communion In our
research we came across a story from 2500 BC based in Egyptian Mythology. This
story stated that there was a virgin birth that had taken place at this time,
and the child and parents were memorialized by the taking of a type of communion
to consume their "flesh." How could this be? I was more confused than ever. I
prayed directly from my heart begging God for an understanding.
After praying until I went to sleep, I had a restless night. Mike and I got
up the next morning to attend church. Uncharacteristically, I was in an angry,
black mood. Nothing seemed right. I am usually excited to go to church. With our
schedules, it is something Mike and I don’t get to do as often as we would like.
I had other reasons that it should have been a much anticipated service. We had
gone to church to see my Mother in the Christmas cantata, but I felt so much
less than festive.
I was more than a little testy. I began to pray, but I couldn‘t really feel
anything. I just felt very numb, not at all connected to anything spiritual.
Doubt and confusion from research found the night before was swimming through my
head. Then suddenly, I was no longer in church. I was standing on a cliff
looking down at a multitude of people.
MIKE: You could not feel anything as you sat in church because you were in
conflict over the information we had read the night before?
SHELLEY: Yes, I was still upset over the prospect that perhaps this new
evidence disproves Jesus’ birth, so I was in church praying telling the Lord I
was very confused. I asked him to just help me understand how these two events
fit together when it seems that there were two stories. I wanted to know what
this meant. I was praying very seriously about it because I was very upset. Then
all of the sudden my eyes closed and it became very bright in my mind, light in
color.
MIKE: What do you mean "light in color?"
SHELLEY: I was outside on a cliff and the sun was shining. It was as if I was
not in church anymore. I looked down and there was a line of people in front of
me. They were far enough away that they only looked an inch or two tall.
MIKE: You were up high looking down on these people?
SHELLEY: Yes, I was standing on the edge of a large rock cliff.
MIKE: Could you feel the rock under your feet?
SHELLEY: Yes, when I moved my right foot, the rock under my foot felt silty.
A little heavier than silty, closer to sand, almost dusty, but very soft. I
could feel the ground under my feet. It was dry and warm on my skin. I was
looking through my eyes down at my feet. I could see the edge of the ankle
length bone colored robe I was wearing. My toes were about three inches from the
edge of the cliff. As I looked down I could not see straight down the rock face.
I was looking down and out from where I was standing. I was looking down at the
people who were in the valley below. There were people back as far as I could
see. The line of people wound from left to right like a loose "S" shape. They
were in front of me.
MIKE: You could not see where they were coming from?
SHELLEY: No, I could not see where they were coming from, from my left. It
went on as far as I could understand. Then I looked at the people in front of me
and followed it to the right, scanning the line. It appeared to head up a small
incline going on as far to the right as I could see. They were down in the
valley and I also noticed the other side of the valley. There were cliffs on the
other side. They were also yellowish-orange in color.
MIKE: Was it the same color and type of cliff that you were standing on?
SHELLEY: Yes. It reminded me almost of the Grand Canyon in it’s color and
shape, but more desert like.
MIKE: Were the cliffs across from you just on the other side of the
valley?
SHELLEY: Yes.
MIKE: Did you see any trees or shrubs?
SHELLEY: No, I couldn’t see any trees or other plants. It was barren.
MIKE: Where was the sun in reference to where you were standing?
SHELLEY: The sun was setting behind the cliff wall on the other side of the
valley. It appeared that there were mountains behind the cliff across from me as
well.
MIKE: Was the sun shining in your eyes?
SHELLEY: No, it was daytime and fairly bright. But the sun was apparently
setting, because, while I could see the light, I couldn’t see the sun itself. As
I looked back down at the people, the thing that struck me about them was that
there were men and women, but no children. They all looked to be about the same
age, 30‘s-40’s. There was no one younger or older.
MIKE: OK, the line was long from the left to the right, but how wide was
it?
How many people wide would you say it was?
SHELLEY: They were far enough away that I would say, probably more than 30
people wide. Yes, definitely more than that. More than being a physical
representation of counting people, was the sense that it was an innumerable
amount of people.
MIKE: Endless amounts of people?
SHELLEY: It actually goes even further than that. As I watched the people,
there were three things that struck me. The first was how they appeared
physically. I could not necessarily discern their clothing, though they were all
clothed. The clothing that they were wearing didn’t seem to be something that I
needed to see in detail. But I do know that they were all dressed nearly the
same. What did stand out was their ages, all middle age, strong working age.
There were no people with infirmities. No one was in a wheelchair or using
crutches.
MIKE: Everyone was physically healthy?
SHELLEY: Everyone looked like a picture of the perfect age and health.
Remember this is much like other visions where I understand a concept from the
picture I see. While the people were far away, I understood that they were this
age and physical condition.
MIKE: Could you see their feet? Were they wearing shoes?
SHELLEY: They were too far away to tell if they were wearing shoes.
MIKE: Were the people of completely formed, normal human body shape?
SHELLEY: Yes. Very fit physical form. The second thing that occurred to me
was that even though the line of people winded around a little bit, just a light
"S" shape. There was not one person off of the path. They were packed shoulder
to shoulder. No one was pushing. They stood in unison.
MIKE: Were the people in the line walking or standing still?
SHELLEY: They were standing still, but I had the sense that they were going
toward something.
MIKE: They were all facing the same direction that they were heading?
SHELLEY: They were all facing, as I was looking at them, to my right.
MIKE: It was a line, A lineage of people facing left to right?
SHELLEY: Right. This was the third thing that occurred to me, that they were
representing a lineage. There were two things about this that were amazing to
me. As I looked to the left of the line of people, my stomach almost literally
turned over with the comprehension of how old and far back in time that left
side of the lineage went. As I understood it went back before a time that I
could understand. There were no gaps between the people. It just went on and on
and on. As I looked to my right they were people moving up through time. This
wasn’t represented to me through a change in their clothing, they all looked the
same. It appeared as if they were wearing robes similar to mine. I just
understood that they were people moving forward in time from the people coming
from the left. As they were moving on to the right, I realized that they were
moving onto a time I knew and then further into time I didn’t, but that time
went beyond the people I could see.
MIKE: Was there any part of the line of people that was present time? A place
where you, in this life time would fit?
SHELLEY: It was more just about the concept of time that they represented.
The way it applied to me, in my understanding, was that it really didn’t matter
where I fit, backwards or forwards in the line, it was just to explain to me the
idea of as far back as people go and as far forwards as they will go. The words
I heard were, "Be proud to be part of the lineage of the people who go toward
light. There is nothing to be afraid of." I understood "toward light" to mean
always toward the understanding of good, of the people who try, who forgive.
People who always try to evolve toward the good in their human lives. When I
heard that, and I am not sure who the voice belonged to, it was a voice that I
had not heard before in my physical lifetime, a huge sense of pride welled up
inside of me. I understood that I would always be part of that, I was so
relieved, comforted, and elated. I knew that it was what I was meant to do. I
knew that I never wanted to be anything other than one of these. It was as if it
was my sole purpose --all that I would ever want. People who choose to be part
of this lineage, that is what they become, what you base your life, goals, and
actions on. This behavior goes as far back as humanity and as far forward as
humanity will go.
MIKE: What, if any, other understandings did you get from this vision?
SHELLEY: The next thing that I understood, I assume, because of the questions
that I had asked in prayer, was that there have been several representations of
the same thing throughout time. Whether they were separated through history by
great deals of time or not, I’m not sure. It was represented differently in
different time periods though.
MIKE: Represented differently how?
SHELLEY: Well, there was other representations in other time periods that
corresponded to human understanding at that time. With Jesus, that was its own
time, a time of a new understanding and covenant. God was sent, at that time, in
human form, to show us how to act in this new covenant, sent as an example to us
with our set of religious beliefs. But, I do know that there have been other
representations. It was indicated to me as I looked at the line of people.
I couldn’t see any markers or anything. It was just something that I
understood. In these other representations it came in similar ways, but to meet
these needs of the people at those times and instruct them, by example, of what
they were to do in that time period to follow the path of light. It is very
important to convey how far reaching the time period is from the beginning to
the end.
The people being shoulder to shoulder like soldiers shows their single
mindedness toward this goal. It represented the solidarity they had even though
they were in time periods with different understandings and beliefs. They had a
common understanding between them as they stood together. This was represented
by no one being off of the path, regardless that they may have followed
different examples in their own time period.
The important thing was "Be proud to be part of the lineage of the people who
go toward the light. There is nothing to be afraid of." I understood that the
greater purpose was to know that you belong to this lineage, not the example
that was used during your time to follow. Accept this and keep following the
path in the way YOU are instructed. It is not important that there were others
before, just how well you follow that example in your time.
It has happened in different ways at different times. Each example in its
time and place in the lives of the people it is presented for, should be
followed with reverence, to learn how to be part of that lineage. For example
now, in this new covenant, for people with my understanding, the important
example is Jesus, the son of God. The others aren’t for us to follow now. We are
in our own time period of learning and understanding and that is the example we
are to follow.
MIKE: Could you understand the number of prior representations or
examples?
SHELLEY: I did not get a number. Just several, but I did understand that the
world and its beliefs were different in the past.
MIKE: How did this vision make you feel afterward?
SHELLEY: It made me feel solid, comforted, and sure. It made me feel the most
connected I have ever felt to anything. I knew that I, in a form greater than my
body, belonged to something that had always been and always would be. I was
amazed that I was blessed enough to be able to call myself part of that. Solid,
singular of purpose, and dedicated. Dedicated really isn’t a strong enough word.
It is what these people, including myself were and always would be. I’m not sure
how I became on of these, I was just so happy that I had chosen to be.
MIKE: What do you think this concept holds for other people? I know that we
are trying to stay away from conjecture, so you do not have to answer.
SHELLEY: It doesn’t have to be conjecture. The over all meaning that I got
was that anyone who seeks light, understanding of going toward the good, is part
of that anyway, whether they know it or not. It is one of the visions and
prophesies that I have seen, and needs to be told to everyone.
MIKE: Did this line of people represent everyone who has ever lived?
SHELLEY: There is something important in that. I know that the line of people
that I saw did not represent everyone that has ever lived. It only represented
those who followed the path of light.
MIKE: So what about the other people. Did you have any concept or vision of
them?
SHELLEY: No, I knew it wasn’t everyone who had ever lived, but I didn’t see
the others or have any idea about where they were.
MIKE: Did it seem to be a case where someone chose whether they were on that
path or not? Was it preordained?
SHELLEY: No, I got the feeling that a person could choose at anytime to be on
this path of Light and that if they then made it their life, they would stay on
that path as long as they chose to continue going toward light. It is a
conscious decision.
MIKE: Based on your understanding of this concept, why were there not
children or infirmed in your vision?
SHELLEY: Because, as I understood it, the people were not represented as
their true physical bodies. They were representations of the finest, fittest
forms themselves spiritually. To be that solid, to come from forever backwards
and forever forwards in humanity, and to have that understanding you would be
the fittest of form and of the perfect age of understanding. I would relate the
physical form that they took to that of Greek sculptures where everyone was not
necessarily muscle bound, but a representation of our understanding of the
perfect body shape and form. Not one person wore glasses, no one was limping,
there were no children or elderly, only the finest physical form that could be
represented.
MIKE: What was the temperature, as you were standing on the cliff
watching?
SHELLEY: Absolutely warm and dry. No rain coming in, and not desolate dry. I
had no sense of thirst. I wasn’t sweating or cold. I felt perfectly warm and
comfortable.
MIKE: But you were in a physical body?
SHELLEY: I remember looking down and moving my feet back and forth, so yes. I
could see the people perfectly even though in reality I am visually impaired.
They were not out of focus at all, I could see them perfectly. They were not
people of different skin color. They each had a flawless bronzy skin tone. No
variances in skin color. Neither light nor dark, a deep bronzy tone.
MIKE: Men and Women?
SHELLEY: Yes, men and women. Tawny, healthy, and vibrant men and women. As I
scanned the hugeness of the line of people, my stomach rose and fell as if I was
riding a roller coaster because of the enormity of time that was represented. I
could never, on my own, have even imagined such a span of time.
MIKE: Was this experience specific toward our human experience on earth?
Could it be a lineage of a different spiritual group from another physical
plane, for example, life after death?
SHELLEY: Only humans with our understanding on earth.
MIKE: Were you alone on the cliff?
SHELLEY: No, behind my left shoulder was the person who had brought me
specifically to see this concept.
MIKE: Someone you knew, someone familiar to you?
SHELLEY: No. I wasn’t afraid of this person though. I knew that this person,
someone I understood to be male, had my best interest in mind. I knew that he
had brought me to the cliff to allow me to see and understand this concept so
that I could tell it to others. The person was actually comforting to me- almost
parental. I never saw him though. I just had these understandings about him. He
never actually explained things to me, or spoke with words.
MIKE: What was it like coming back to the consciousness of the church after
the vision?
SHELLEY: When I came back I was not nauseous like I usually am after a
vision. I did not have a headache, but my vision was "foggy." I was shocked to
actually be at church. I had forgotten that I was even there, the vision seemed
as if it was my whole life while I was in it. I did notice that my mood was much
better. I was so grateful to be part of what I had seen in the vision. I
understood the answer to my question, and knew I had to tell others. I literally
had tears in my eyes, I felt like I was bursting with joy. I didn’t know for
sure how I had decided to become part of that lineage. I was just go grateful.
Now I have a question for you. How long was I gone in the vision?
MIKE: It couldn’t have been more than ten or fifteen minutes.
SHELLEY: It felt like an eternity as usual. I was in church one minute and
had no idea it was going to happen, then I knew nothing of my life here, and
then suddenly I was just back with this knowledge. What did I look like, and did
I do anything unusual?
MIKE: You were just looking forward toward the front of the church and looked
like you were in thought.
Described in Question and Answer Format
between Mike and Shelley
This was a vision which came in answer to an honest, heartfelt prayer.
The vision occurred on a Sunday morning around 11 AM, during church, in

the same thing throughout time.

It has happened in different ways at different times. Each example in its

SHELLEY: I did not get a number. Just several, but I did understand that the

MIKE: How did this vision make you feel afterward?
SHELLEY: It made me feel solid, comforted, and sure. It made me feel the most

how I became on of these, I was just so happy that I had chosen to be.
